Uptown Imaging will cover your big day from bride and groom preparations until after the first dance and into your evening reception.

We can provide further photographers on the day if you require simultaneous bride and groom preparation photo's, or simply would like multi angles capturing your big day

• Once we receive your request we will respond within 24 hours, to secure your photographer(s) for your wedding day we ask for a deposit of £200.00

• We will check in with you periodically to see how your big day is shaping up, as seasoned wedding photographers we hold a wealth of information to help in the planning of your wedding.

• Approximately 4 weeks prior to your wedding we will meet you for your pre wedding consultation, this will help us get a detailed view of your special requests and run of the day. The final balance will also be expected as this point.

• On the day of your wedding your photographer(s) will capture the day as it unfolds, we believe in providing natural reportage style wedding photography allowing for some time with the happy couple to capture those special moments.

• Your images will then be professionally edited, this process will take approximately 3 weeks, whereby you will receive both high and low resolution images (guaranteed 400+) presented in a beautiful personalised presentation box with USB.

• If you have opted for one of our hand made coffee table books you will receive this up to 4 weeks after your photo's have been provided to you.

Q. What is "Reportage" style wedding photography?

A. Reportage style wedding photographer's capture the day as it happens and takes photo's to tell the story of your big day in a natural, unobtrusive way. Reportage photography can also be described as "Photojournalistic". This style is preferred by our photographers.

Q. One photographer, two photographers or three?!

A. One photographer can capture all of the photographic requirements that present on the day, a second photographer is useful if you require simultaneous bride & groom preparation photo's, especially if this in different locations. A second photographer also enables a greater selection of angles covered during key parts of the day i.e. Ceremony.

Q. Do i need to select/pre-order my coffee table album at booking?

A. No, you can order an album at any time, you can add on a coffee table album after you receive your wedding photo's too.

Q. Do you need to visit our venue before the big day arrives?

A. Not necessarily, we have photographed many weddings at lots of different locations and venues, each wedding day and couple are unique, by visiting the venue prior allows us no further advantage.

Q. Do you take any formal / group shots?

A. Yes, we understand that formal / group family photo's are just as important as our reportage style photography and if requested we will spend time capturing these images.

Q. What if we can't physically meet for our pre-wedding consultation?

A. It may be the case that we cannot meet prior to your big day, this could be due to location or distance i.e. overseas wedding. We will still arrange and fulfil this consultation, via phone, Skype or FaceTime if circumstances prevent a face to face meeting.

Q. What equipment do you use?

A. We only use professional Canon DSLR's and more importantly, top of the range Canon "L" series lenses. All photo's are professionally edited using the best software on Apple Mac computers.

Q. What is high and low resolution copyright free images?

A. We provide you with 2 copies of the same image, with the high resolution you can use to print up to pretty much any size you wish without the loss of quality, the low resolution image is for uploading to the web and social media sites. All of these are copyright free allowing you to do as you like with each image.

Q. Can we see testimonials from couples you have worked with?

A. Yes, you can click on the "Kind Words" tab at the top of the page, this will take you to our previous clients, we can also provide you with email details where you can contact them directly if you wish.

 Q. Do you offer any discounts?

A. Each wedding is unique, we cover the entirety of the day for one fixed price, we do have special offers advertised frequently i.e.: get 2 photographers for the price of one. Contact us for further details and latest offers.

A. Click on the "Contact" tab at the top of the page, fill the online form in with as much detail as possible and we will get back to you within 24 hours.
